PERFORMANCE
B E N C H M A R K
A new level of achievement has been
realized with the development of Niagara's new A337
Three Flute End Mill for aluminum. We've seen many
astonishing application reports since the introduction
of A337 last fall. Here is an application for your
review. If you would like to review other application
reports please visit our Website at http://www.niagaracutter.com
and click on "Application Histories."
Niagara A337 produced longer tool life
at 10X less cost per tool and yielded a 44% higher
metal removal rate. |

Out
with the Old - In with the
New Product Labels
Very shortly we will be introducing entirely
new end mill packaging labels. And soon after, new labels
will be available for the arbor and shank type tools
manufactured at our Athol, MA facility. Bar codes are
possibly the most dramatic improvement to the label.
Each label will have a bar code that consists of our
six digit Manufacturer's I.D. number (698036), and the
individual five digit product EDP number. The addition
of bar coding is just a small part of the Niagara Cutter
commitment to being easier to do business with. Other
changes include printing the new labels with high quality
thermal printers on exceptional label media. Our new
logo and our customer service phone number will be added
to the pre-printed portion of the label. |
Which
Tool Coating Should
You Use?
Many users are uncertain as to which coating is the
right one for their application. Today there are several
different coatings available including Niagara's new
TiAIN coatings, Microshield HH and HM. These new coatings
along with TiN and TiCN are available on all Niagara
Cutter products. With years of coated tool application
expertise behind us, Niagara can provide specific machining
parameters for your application questions. In addition,
please refer to our Technical Bulletin TB101 for detailed
information on all Niagara Microshield coatings. |
Our
Product Line Is Getting Bigger and Better!
This year Niagara Cutter is not only expanding
the selection of sizes of existing products, but we're adding
several complete new series of end mills to the product line.
In the area of expanded sizes, Niagara will increase the selection
of Cobalt Center-Cutting Finishing End Mills in both Square-End
and Ball-End, including all standard lengths. Our Roughing
End Mill products will continue to go through a major expansion.
Other product families to be increased will be Metrics, A337
and 2" large diameter tools.
New additions to the Niagara family will include a complete
series of Non-Center-Cutting Cobalt Finishing End Mills.
We'll also see the addition of two new Roughing Shell Mills
series, a Fine-Pitch and a Rougher/Finisher in M42 Cobalt.
Complementing the RHC952 Solid Carbide Rougher is the addition
of Coarse and Fine-Pitch Solid Carbide Roughing End Mills.
Finally, for exotic materials such as Titanium, there's
the introduction of a Premium Super Cobalt series with High
Performance Geometries.
