(Shell End Mills - Four Options for Milling)

General Purpose Shell End Mills - (R Series)
The Style " R" series shell end mill is made from regular high speed steel. It has 10 degree positive radial rake and a 15 degree right hand helix. It is effective for general purpose milling of all types of materials. Style "R" is standard in 13 sizes for right cut and 5 sizes for left hand cut.

Aluminum Shell End Mills - (RA Series)
The Style "RA" series shell end mill is made from regular high speed. It has 15 degree positive radial rake and 20 degree right hand helix for free cutting action. It has fewer teeth than does the standard shell end mill and is therefore recommended for aluminum or other materials where greater chip disposal space is required. (Heavy feed and depth of cut.)

T-15 Shell End Mills - (RS Series)
The Style "RS" shell end mill is made from T-15 super high speed steel for machining stainless steel, materials 37 Rc and above and the space age alloys. It has 10 degree positive radial rake and 15 degree right hand helix. T-15 has high resistance to cutting temperature and high abrasion resistance.

M-42 High Cobalt Shell End Mills - (RD Series)
The Style "RD" shell end mill is made from M-42 high cobalt super high speed steel. It has 10 degree positive radial rake and 15 degree right hand helix. Style "RD" M-42 shell mills have high resistance to cutting temperatures and high abrasion resistance and are recommended for all materials including the space age alloys where standard high speed steel does not meet production requirements.
